Our InstaRadiance Facial can be an excellent alternative to patients with rosacea, broken capillaries or extremely sensitive skin who cannot tolerate chemical peels or the vacuum-like suction of microdermabrasion. Using an alternative method of exfoliation “derma-planing”, this is a safe treatment for patients who are pregnant or nursing and want a deep exfoliation, but cannot use peeling agents on their skin because of the risk of the chemicals being absorbed into the bloodstream. For some patients, derma-planing may be combined with a chemical peel to allow the acid solution to penetrate deeper and more evenly into the skin.

Derma-planing is one of the most effective exfoliation treatments available for the face. It is a gentle and simple process that uses a sterile surgical scalpel that is lightly moved across the face to tone, resurface and touch-up the skin. This evenly “skims off” the upper layers of dead skin, stimulating collagen and elastin production. The result is smoother, brighter, and more youthful-looking skin.
